At ALS Tutoring, we provide comprehensive tutoring for students in grades 6-12, covering all core subjects, including math, science, reading, and history, as well as AP courses. Our specialized AP tutor is highly experienced in preparing students for the unique challenges of AP exams, offering targeted strategies that focus on the specific question types and format the tests demand. None of our students have ever failed an End-of-Course (EOC) exam, and they typically see their GPA improve by at least 1.5 points. Most students also raise their EOC scores by two full levels, reflecting substantial progress. Our teaching approach is personalized for each student, ensuring that every lesson aligns with their individual learning style, since our expert tutors have a sharp eye for adapting instruction to maximize success.

Our Prestige SAT/ACT Preparation Program

At ALS Tutoring, our SAT/ACT prep program is designed to help students master these critical exams through a comprehensive 16 week curriculum. We break down all the content areas covered on these tests, ensuring a deep understanding of the material. In addition, we provide a thorough explanation of how the SAT and ACT mechanically work, teaching students strategies that make the test-taking process more intuitive and, ultimately, make them more successful. Our students typically see score improvements of 200 points on the SAT or 6.5 points on the ACT, which translates to a ~30% increase in percentile ranking. With our targeted approach, students gain the confidence and skills they need to excel on test day.
